Solax HS50E 5kWh Battery (for X1-IES)

SolaX designed this 5kWh battery module to increase the capacity of domestic single-phase solar storage systems. The modular unit allows installers to scale total capacity up to 40kWh by adding extra battery units. An IP66 protection rating ensures the casing is dust-tight and resistant to high-pressure water jets for flexible indoor or outdoor installation. This energy storage system operates at up to 98% efficiency to minimise power waste during charge cycles. The electrical configuration supports a 50A charge and discharge current alongside a 20A DC input current limit. It also tolerates up to 200% solar PV input power to capture maximum energy from high-power solar panels. For emergency power cuts, the battery switches to backup mode in less than 10ms to keep essential appliances running. An integrated smart load manager controls the energy flow directly to heavy-use devices like heat pumps and electric vehicle chargers. AI-ready programming forecasts household generation and consumption to automate cost-saving power schedules, while the plug-and-play connection design simplifies wiring tasks for the solar engineer during commissioning.
